The Saugerties Nightmares, a leisure girls’s hockey group, took first place within the April Showers match on March 31-April 2 at Nashoba Valley Olympia Ice Rink in Boxborough, MA.

The Nightmares took on the Mom Puckers of Belmont, MA in Recreation 1 of the competitors, profitable 5-1 with two objectives by Katie Baxter and Tina Dierna, Sarah Hamil and Emile Hauser every scoring one. Recreation 2 was a detailed 4-3 win over the Midnight Mustangs of Medford, MA which went to a shootout. Baxter was on hearth, scoring two objectives throughout regulation and one within the shootout. Emily Seawall had a objective in common play and Cheryl Kranick added one within the shootout. The Nightmares will host its annual Might Soften match Might 5-7 at its house rink on the Kiwanis Ice Enviornment in Saugerties. The occasion is a fundraiser for Miles of Hope, a neighborhood group that provides again to space households who’ve been impacted by breast most cancers.
